Six stereo effects, direct control. Delay, Reverb, Pitch, Chorus/Flanger, Texture and a Color filter. Each on a single bipolar control, where the centre is off and each direction opens a different character. An internal Motion modulator animates them all while you play and everything is under CV.

Key features

Delay: Ping-pong repeats, clock-syncable, with three time ranges. Feedback runs clean one way, or distorted the other.
Reverb: A natural Hall one way; Gated the other.
Pitch: an octave up into shimmer, or an octave down for weight.
Chorus / Flanger: chorus thickens, flanger sweeps. Rate follows your delay tempo.
Texture: white noise or granular grit, rising and falling with your audio signal.
Color: DJ-style filter across the whole mix: low-pass one way, high-pass the other.
Motion: Internal LFO or Sample & Hold that animates the effects you have opened. One knob sets type, speed and depth at once.
Freeze: Holds the delay and sustains the reverb indefinitely. Keep playing on top.

In detail

Six effects, one signal path

DELAY, REVERB, PITCH, MODULATION, TEXTURE and COLOR share a single stereo chain and blend against your dry signal. Chain a ping-pong delay into a natural hall or a gated ambience, stack octaves into a shimmer, add granular texture or white noise, and shape the whole thing with the filter. The character comes from how they interact.

Everything, moving

Motion is FUM's internal modulator. Push right for a smooth triangle LFO with variable speed. Pull left for Sample & Hold, which jumps to a new random value and holds it: rhythmic, unpredictable movement rather than a sweep. One control sets the mode, the rate and the depth.

Built to be played

Six dedicated CV inputs and a clock input make FUM a first-class citizen of your patch. RGB LEDs read out every parameter at a glance.

1 · DELAY — Long: blue · Mid: amber · Short: magenta. Blinks in time with the delay tempo. Brightness follows feedback amount.

2 · PITCH — Down: blue · Up: violet. Off at centre.

3 · TEXTURE — Granular: amber · White noise: white. Off at centre.

4 · COLOR — Low-pass: blue · High-pass: violet. Off at centre.

5 · REVERB + MOD — Flanger: green · Chorus: pink. Brightness follows reverb amount.

6 · MOTION — S&H: amber · LFO: lila. Pulses with the modulation rate.

Red blink — clipping warning.
